As I work I’ve tried to collect the things I reference most often into a single place. This cheat sheet is an onging result of that effort. It isn’t pretty, but it is handy (for me at least). I hope it helps someone else: Link to full version. Embedded version below:
UPDATE: since people seem to keep having trouble with getting a copy of this here’s a link to an excel version. No promises that it will be kept up-to-date.
thanks! great help!
Thanks, this is a fantastic resource. However I’d love to be able to download it into Excel and then print it out with a few tweaks. Is there any way to download it?
Andy, use this link http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pHJSI5ye5FxqRfh1nEPCnJA&newcopy
If you have a google docs account that *should* create a copy of the document in your account. Then you can download it as an excel file. If you are interested in collaborating on the google docs file, just let me know, I’d be happy to allow you to do so.
Great work!
Thanks for sharing it publicly. :)
Hi,
I simply create a copy of this docs in my own Google Docs account. The link above does nothing. I tried to change the link to the following, as I saw on another website:
https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pHJSI5ye5FxqRfh1nEPCnJA&newcopy
(note the https and /ccc?
It pops up a page asking if I want to make a copy, but when I click ‘yes’ it says ‘You can no longer view this document, the owner changed the sharing options’. And I still don’t have a copy of the doc. Please help.
Try this link, sorry!

Hi,
the Cheat Sheet is great – I have started working with MODx some weeks ago and I am absolutely exited about it.
But: I dont have a google account, and I dont wanna get one yet – would it be possible to get it as Excel in another way (you but a copy of it on you blog, send it to me per mail etc.?)
And one more questions – what do you think about MODx 2? I think that will be cool, but I haven`t tested it yet.

Hi Sebastian, thanks for the comment. You should have an excel version of the document in your inbox. Modx revolution (2.0) looks very interesting. I’m excited about the final release candidate to be finished. I’ve run a few of the beta’s and they look very promising. I’m especially interested in the integration of PHx functionality, that will be a huge benefit for the kind of stuff that I often do!
Hi, found your cheat sheet via google while looking for resources to learn modx. this is very useful. tried to get it into my google doc but somehow I just can’t figure it out. can you email me the excel file instead? appreciate you help.. thanks
You got it! enjoy!
Hi Brandon..
I can’t yet seem to figure out how to save your cheat sheets
with google docs. I appreciate your efforts in preparing this material. If available please send me the excel file.
Thanks much.
No problem, I’ll try to post a link to an excel version shortly…
